Too many ideas for “fun crafts!” for kids look like work for the adults. As a homeschooling (unschooling) mom, I’ve had my kids around all the time since always. Y’all need to take the ambition level down a notch.
So, first idea: Water.
Thats it, just give them access to water. The sink will work, pull containers out of your recycling, big food containers, whatever. Put them in the bath with a selection of bottles and yogurt cups. My kids have spent hours making “potions” with grass, dirt, food coloring, shampoo.. Most importantly, GET OUT OF THEIR BEESWAX. It will get messy. That is the tradeoff for having them out of YOUR beeswax. Then, you can have them occupied with cleaning it up!
Next idea: cardboard
Just give them cardboard, maybe scissors and markers too. The end.
